Beginning in 2003, Franklin has practiced extensively in business, estate planning, land use, entitlements, zoning, and corporate formations, bringing a strategic and insightful legal perspective to his clients.

He has successfully negotiated and brokered over $100M in residential, industrial, and commercial real estate transactions, showcasing his proficiency in high-level negotiations and market acumen.

Founding Neighborhood Property Management, Inc. in 2002, Franklin provides comprehensive affordable and market rate property management services for a portfolio of 750+ units valued at more than $100M.

His tenure as a municipal Planning Manager involved leading a collaborative meeting center for developers and city officials, streamlining entitlement processes, and contributing to critical zoning and planning policies.

Franklin has represented notable retail clients like Walmart & Home Depot through often contentious site developments across the western states. He also has experience in developing a range of real estate assets from single-family homes to industrial complexes.

As a co-founder of IDEAL Capital Group and collaborations with other lead operators, Franklin has been instrumental as a General Partner, Limited Partner, Key Principle, and Fund of Fund Manager in aggregate deals valued over $1B, having personally raised and deployed more than $25M in private capital.
